Philly Cheese Steak Debate, Pat's or Geno's

Living in South Philly, I always get asked the question, Which cheese steak place is better, Pat's or Geno's.
The answer to that question, at least from me is, I like them both. If you like your sandwich stuffed with meat, go to Pat's.
Order a cheese steak with fried onions and cheese wiz. They are so juicy, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. If you like a normal sandwich, with what we think is a little better quality meat, then go to Geno's. Their sandwiches are always good, but a little on the light side. A lot of people prefer Geno's for this reason. Oh, and the hot sauce at Geno's is very hot. I once had to buy another cheese steak just to stop my mouth from burning. So go lite on the hot sauce. Now both places also serve cheese fries in a cup. The fries are also awesome. Geno's has a machine that just pumps out fries all day, and Pat's does as well. The best thing is the fast service you get from both places, if they're not too crowded. You can walk up to the window, put in your order, and be eating in 1 minute. No exaggeration. They both also have great soda fountains that include Birch Beer, you won't find that at many places anymore. And just 1 size of soda, to keep it simple. No giant cups to deal with. SO do I like Pat's or Geno's better? I like them both the same, and it all depends on my mood.

Whenever you come to South Philly, be it for a Philles Game or Eagles game, or whatever your reason, be sure to try a Cheese Steak from Pat's or Geno's, or why not try both and make your own decision who's better.
